This morning, enjoy a tour of Calgary, a vibrant city blending urban chic with western heritage. See landmarks like the Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary, the Stampede grounds where the annual rodeo is held, and the downtown business district. Visit of the Sam Centre which connects visitors to Calgary’s Stampede stories. Immersive and interactive exhibits will reveal the peoples, stories and artifacts of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
Begin the journey through the foothills of the Rockies towards the town of Banff. On the way, pass by Calgary Olympic Park with its 90m ski jump tower and bobsleigh track. Arrive in Banff and check in to the hotel for a three night stay including breakfast.
Banff has a wide range of recreational activities, shopping and night life possibilities. Banff National Park is the oldest national park in Canada, covering an area of 6,594 sq km. It is a natural wonderland of mountains, lakes, rivers and canyons and is also a wildlife refuge for elk, deer and bighorn sheep. In fact, it is not uncommon to see elk or deer grazing by the highway while travelling in the area. The park is open year round and offers visitors summertime activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, boating, fishing, horseback riding and countless opportunities for photographers.

The destination is the stunning Spirit Island, famous as one of Canada’s most photographed locations. Lunch Buffet is included at Maligne Lakehouse. Take a stroll through Maligne Canyon, marvelling at its turquoise waters and deep gorge. Enjoy views of the rushing river from multiple bridges along the way. Return to the hotel.

This morning you will be transferred from the hotel to the Rocky Mountaineer Rail Station for the rail journey to Kamloops in Silverleaf/GoldLeaf Service.
Upon check-in for your train departure, you will receive a boarding pass which will indicate your Kamloops accommodation. Please note all accommodation in Kamloops is considered moderate.
Guest travelling with additional pieces of checked luggage that will not be required while staying overnight in Kamloops, as an added convenience, Rocky Mountaineer would be happy to direct extra checked luggage pieces straight through to the final location at the end of day two of the journey. Note, this luggage will not be accessible until the 2 day train journey is completed so please pack accordingly. This service is optional and can be arranged while checking-in at one of Rocky Mountaineer Guest Centres. Please note there is no overhead seat storage, and your carry-on bag (eg; large purse or backpack) must fit at your feet. All medications, valuables, personal items and travel documents must be carried with you in your hand luggage.
Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard the train. Guests will also receive complimentary snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the rail journey. The service gratuity for the onboard team (hosts, culinary, cleaners and other non-managerial crew) is included.

Today’s morning sightseeing tour of Vancouver begins with Canada Place & the waterfront with a stop at the Olympic Flame Monument. On to Granville Island with its famous public market, art and craft shops and many cafes and restaurants. Enjoy a 2-hour Granville Island Market Tour. Noisy and chaotic, yet irresistibly atmospheric, Granville Island is Canada’s second most visited tourist attraction, behind Niagara Falls, and Vancouver’s destination for lovers of food, art and culture. Offering fresh, local, seasonal produce, alongside, a slice of local life, this is where guests rub elbows with Vancouver’s chefs as they shop for tonight’s menu. During the Granville Island tour, guests will savour a cornucopia of fine foods from independent farmers and food artisans throughout Vancouver and beyond, from duck confit and cheeses to locally-made charcuterie, melt-in-your-mouth donuts, to world-class coffee and chai. Touring Granville Island Public Market will be one of the most authentic ways to experience Vancouver.

Mid-afternoon depart for Stanley Park. Make a stop at the Totem Poles and Prospect Point before continuing to North Vancouver and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Appreciate nature from three breathtaking perspectives, the world famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, the seven bridges of Treetops Adventure and the new Cliffwalk, high above Capilano River.
Dinner tonight is at Salmon House on the Hill before returning to Vancouver in the evening.

Visit Flyover Canada. Soar over Canada’s most spectacular sights on an unforgettable ride experience everyone will love!
